General Investment Thesis

My investment strategy focuses on areas where I have a deep understanding and a competitive edge. While I recognize that Cybersecurity is likely a significant long-term trend, I’ve chosen not to invest in it because I don’t fully grasp the competitive landscape. By playing to my strengths and acknowledging my limitations, I can better assess the potential risks and rewards of opportunities that others might overlook. As I build my portfolio, I take a long-term, multi-year perspective, aiming to harness the power of compound interest—what Albert Einstein called the eighth wonder of the world.

Individual Account

Bitcoin - 100%

Thesis: Bitcoin is a transparent, scarce, secure, censorship-resistant asset that can be used as a unit of account without being controlled by a single entity. Compared to traditional payments or gold, it reduces fees and increases efficiency while removing intermediaries. This is the new gold standard, and every individual, entity, and nation-state should have a strategic Bitcoin reserve. This is not an investment for me; it is my base currency.

Retirement Accounts

Coinbase - 65%

Thesis: Coinbase is building the most important company in the crypto space. They have upwards of 20 products for individuals, businesses, and developers. They are building the infrastructure for the industry to flourish while being the default custodian of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and future cryptocurrency ETFs. I’m long this industry, and Coinbase is far and away the leader.

Gamestop - 35%

Thesis: It’s essentially the Roaring Kitty thesis. The market is overlooking the possibility that Ryan Cohen and his team can transform the legacy retail business with no debt and $4 billion in capital. There is a lot of speculation on what that will look like, and ultimately, I’m not sure, but I believe the team will figure it out as time goes on, and whether the end goal is successful or not, the possibility of the stock being worth more than it is in value today is highly probable.
